Oria is fine jewellery for New Zealand, chosen slowly.
We started with a simple frustration: beautiful, well-made jewellery at honest prices was hard to find here without paying for a big-brand name.
So we went looking. Today we work directly with small workshops in Seoul that make in 925 sterling silver, 10K–24K gold, rhodium-plated brass and lab-grown diamonds — the same workshops that supply some of Asia's best-loved jewellery houses.
We are based in the Waikato and sell online only — no showroom, no mall rent, no warehouse of unsold stock. Every dollar that would go into a shopfront goes into the piece instead, which is how atelier-quality jewellery reaches you at a fraction of high-street prices. Each piece is checked by hand here, boxed in our signature packaging and sent tracked anywhere in Aotearoa. Prices are in NZD with GST included.
What we believe
- Materials first. Unplated sterling silver that patinas rather than peels; solid gold where it matters; plating only where it makes sense and always disclosed.
- Wear it, don't store it. Our pieces are made for daily life. Care instructions come with every order.
- Honest pricing. No inflated RRPs and no permanent “sales”.
