#Unplated Silver Related
Unplated silver is pure silver itself, consisting of 92.5%, and has a slightly grayish light-silver color.
Bright and shiny silver refers to products that have been plated with silver on top of it even though they are 925 silver. The appearance, care methods, etc., differ from our unplated silver.
Silver rings undergo polishing (polishing) to smooth the surface. However, for intricate designs like this ring, polishing can be difficult in areas such as the inner side of the ring, overlapping parts, and between chain designs, which may result in a slightly rough surface or less shine compared to the outer side. This is a natural occurrence in handmade silver work and not a defect.
# Caution when using sulfur products
Silver can tarnish due to sulfur compounds in the air, causing a gradual discoloration. Unplated silver can be restored to its original color with a silver cleaning solution.
Therefore, please note that exposure to sulfur-containing cosmetics or hot springs may cause rapid and severe tarnishing of silver jewelry that is difficult to reverse even with cleaning solutions.

- Our 'silver-colored' items are made of unplated sterling silver, meaning they are pure and not coated with a plating layer. This allows for easy maintenance and worry-free wear, even while sleeping.
- Silver naturally oxidizes upon exposure to air over time, turning it slightly dull. However, regular cleaning with a silver polish will restore its original shine.
- When not wearing your silver pieces, always clean them thoroughly and store in an airtight container to prevent tarnish. If left for too long without care, the color may darken significantly and become harder to restore.
